A few things to bring to your attention.
First off, we would like to get one more Oily Rag out this year and of course we need YOUR help to do this! Please send your articles to Ryan Adams (email@example.com) or to me, and I will make sure that Ryan gets them. Articles don’t need to be too involved or technical – just tell us what shows you went to this year, or what was the most unusual British car you saw.
Next, the 2018 calendars are available. Cost is: $12.00 for an 8½” x 11″ calendar (the same price as last year), $11.00 for an 8½” x 6½” or just $16.00 for both! Contact Tony Fox ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) for your copy.
Some of you might recall an email I sent out a couple of months ago alerting you to a beautiful 1952 Morris Oxford that had come for sale on Kijiji. I am pleased to report that this car has been purchased by one of our members! The thing that I found astonishing is that this member already has an identical car and he and his wife plan to attend shows next year in matching cars!
Finally, our esteemed Membership Secretary, Doug Black, has indicated that he will not be standing for re-election at the next AGM. We would like to thank Doug for his valiant service in keeping track of our sometimes-forgetful members, and ask if anyone else would be willing to take on this role? Doug assures me that he will assist in any training that the new Membership Secretary might require.
Best regards, and a Happy Thanksgiving to our American members for this coming Thursday!
John Griffith, President
