OK, I’m fighting the ‘flu at the moment, so don’t stand too close to the screen when you read this email or you might catch it!
Deadline date for the next Oily Rag is next week, 16 Feb, so please send your articles to me, or to Ryan as soon as possible. And remember, a picture might be worth a thousand words, but it has to be hi-resolution – we are NOT printing postage stamps, people!
I have received notice from the City of Woodstock asking how many spaces to allow in the Victoria Day Parade for our Club vehicles? We, we had 6 in 2016, and just ONE last year. Despite that disappointing turnout in 2017, the Club will be the Defending Champion this year in the ‘Recreational’ category, so we should try and make an appearance! (Unfortunately, the sole entry from last year is no longer available!) Please let me know ASAP if you can make this year’s parade, on Monday 21st May 2018.
Finally, I know this is not British car related, but I know that many of you are train buffs as well as being into cars, so I want to bring your attention to the Great British Train Show in Brampton on the 28th and 29th April. I will attach the poster to this email so that you can check your calendar if you are interested.
Think that’s all for now. Don’t forget the AGM, coming up on the 15th April, and then Ancaster on the 22nd.
